Doris Ellen Shattuck

Doris Ellen Reagan Shattuck, age 66, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

Doris was born in Savannah, Georgia to the parents of Bernice Lariscy Reagan and Normon L. Reagan Jr.. Doris graduated in 1974 from Jenkins High School and went on to receive a business degree from Savannah Vocational School. A few years later while enjoying a pastime hobby, she connected with Theldred over a CB Radio. Theldred and Doris dated for nine whole months before he proposed to her on Christmas day. Together, they had two beautiful children. Doris retired from Fort Stewart after 37 years. She was a devoted member of Daniel Baptist Church.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents; Bernice Jewell Lariscy Reagan and Normon L. Reagan Jr.

Doris is survived by her loving husband of 42 years and 6 months, Theldred Shattuck; her sons, Brenton (Chelsea) and Corey Shattuck; her sister, Eleanor Reagan Kuelling; and her two grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Cason and Cohen.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406.

A graveside service will be held at 2:45 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden, 315 Greenwich Road, Savannah, Georgia 31404.
