Doris E. Lanier

Doris E. Lanier passed away on June 3, 2018, at 94 years young, she resided in Pawley's Island, S. C. for more than 20 years where she lived with her childhood sweet heart, her husband Lt. Col. Colan R. Lanier.

As an Air Force pilots wife she traveled extensively, making lifelong friends along the way. Doris was an avid golfer, a bridge player, a gardener and from childhood a love of reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years.  She is survived by their 3 children: Colan R. Lanier, Jr., of Edgewater, Md., John C. Lanier of Texarkana, Texas, and Nancy L Stroud of Williamston, N.C., she had 5 grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Friends are all invited to celebrate Doris's life from 12:30pm - 1:30pm Saturday June 9th, 2018  with her family at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, Georgia 31406, with interment to follow at Hillcrest Abbey East at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers you may donate in memory of Doris E. Lanier to the Wounded Warriors Fund at this address;
