Doris Bullock Nash

Doris Bullock Nash 84 of Savannah Georgia went peacefully  to her happy place with the Lord on October 15 2018. She was born in Oxford North Carolina on September 23 1934 to Hilary Milton Bullock and Pauline Johnson Bullock. Mrs. Nash graduated from Duke University School of Nursing. During her long career she held registration in nursing in North Carolina, Florida and Georgia.  Nursing was not only her career it was her passion and she gave aid, advice and comfort to many.

She is survived by her children Kimberly Anne Salmon and John Andrew Salmon III and wife Tammy Salmon. Her granddaughters Taylor Ann Salmon and Morgan Salmon, brother Dale Bullock and sister in law Grace Bullock who was also her roommate at Duke University. She is also survived by several special nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Hugh Owen Nash, brother Alan Bullock, sister Lois Narron and sister in law Frances Bullock.

Mrs. Nash quick wit and intelligence was admired and adored by all that met her.  Even on her last day she made her neighbors laugh and smile with her funny jokes.

Mrs Nash's family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all the love and assistance she received from the wonderful staff and residents at the Woods community and many thanks to her friends at Candler Community Wellness Center aquatic aerobic classes.
