Donna Williams Carter, 52, of Midway, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah surrounded by her loving family.
A lifelong resident of the Savannah area she is the daughter of Mrs. Linda C. Williams and Benton Williams. Donna had a love for the outside especially gardening; she was employed by Lowe's in Hinesville where she worked in the lawn and gardening department.
She was a member of Coastal Cathedral Church.
Survivors include her parents; her devoted and loving husband of 30 years, Steven Wayne Carter, Sr.; children, Steven, Jr., Brandy Futch (Charles), Dana Backus; 6 grandchildren, Daniel, Anna, Hadessah, Nathan, Joshua, Brooke; siblings, Tonia, David, Benton "Ben", Brian Williams; many nieces, nephews, other family and many many friends.
Visitation: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Burial: Brick Yard Cemetery.
