Donna Vandable, age 82, of Midway, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Compassus Hospice. Donna was born on October 27, 1942 to Mr. Donald Bradley and Mrs. Sadie Marji Weiss Bradley in Los Angeles, California. She grew up and lived in Missouri, later residing in Georgia before moving back to Midway with her son and daughter-in-law three years ago. She retired as the office manager with the Local Union #188, later volunteered her time with Hospice Savannah and later worked with Pruitt Hospice from 2009-2018. Donna was a master gardener and a member of the Savannah Quilt Guild. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Her family includes her two sons, Jeff Vandable and wife Tara of Midway and Mike Vandable; three sisters, Patty Ramsey, Janie Donald, and Sandy Hawkins; two grandchildren, Malinda Vandable and Saydie Vandable; and two great-grandchildren, Krista Kincade and Jordan Kincade.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.)
