Donna Dozier

Donna Dozier, age 60, passed away on Saturday August 28th at Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 14, 1960 in Savannah, Georgia.

She was a devoted and loving wife of over 40 years to her husband Dale. What else can be said about Donna, she was always there for her family and friends as well as many strangers. Donna was known for her kind and generous heart. She loved everyone. She was willing to cook a meal or offer a prayer to anyone in need. She and her husband were active members of New Life Worship Center in Rincon, Georgia where she shared her God-given gift of singing as her way to worship and share her blessings. She was also a wonderful caregiver for her mother Faith.

She will be so dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her father, Earl Newman, grandmother, Nancy Cribb, and sister Kathy Mathis.

She is survived by her mother, Faith Newman, husband Dale Dozier, many nieces and nephews, two of which Donna thought of as her own daughters, Jerri Mathis (Stacey), Cherri Jaynes (Kevin) and sisters Earlene Riner (Leland), Nancy Cannady (Robert).

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. , Wednesday September 1, 2021 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday September 1, 2021 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel with a burial following at Greenwich Cemetery, 330 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404
