Donald E. Snider, Sr., 80, of Savannah and husband of JoAnn J. Snider died Monday morning at home.
He was born in Savannah, Georgia on December 1, 1940, the son of the late Reverend Grover Samuel Snider and the late Elizabeth Helmly Snider.
Donald was employed by Union Camp where he retired after 38 years of service. He was a devoted member of Radiant Life Christian Fellowship where he served on the board and as a deacon. Donald was a capable craftsman who willingly worked alongside any family member needing help on a house project and an amazing backyard mechanic known for repairing any vehicle brought to him.
He was predeceased by his brothers, George C. Snider and William L. Snider.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years JoAnn J. Snider, son Donald E. Snider, Jr. (Marcy), grandchildren Mackenzie and Haley Snider, sister Mary Gay, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 16th, from 10 - 11am at Radiant Life Christian Fellowship. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 11am officiated by Reverend David Stanton.
