Donald Grady Chapman, Sr.,76 , of Guyton passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at The Place Pooler .
He was born in Dillion, South Carolina, the son of late Herbert Chapman and Nellie Hayes Chapman . He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard where he was a Ship Mechanic, was the owner of Marine Takeout in Thunderbolt and several convenience stores.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Diane W. Chapman; brothers, Leo, Doug and James Chapman; sisters, Clara Belle Rawls and Gladys Morris.
Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Donald G. Chapman, Jr. of Pooler, GA, David L. and Ashley Chapman of Effingham County.
