Dianne Wasson Dimmitt (63) died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on June 17, 2019.
She was born October 30, 1955 in Savannah, GA to parents Mary "Kitty" Wasson and Fred Wasson Jr. Diane lived in Savannah for the majority of her life and graduated from Savannah High School in 1973.
Dianne was a daughter, granddaughter, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and niece. She loved her family and friends more than anything in the world. Dianne also enjoyed traveling, always looking for the next great adventure. In her later years, she especially loved taking care of her dog and watching after her many plants.
She is survived by her mother, Mary "Kitty" Wasson; her children Tara Beaty, Eric Dimmitt & Shane Dimmitt, her granddaughter Trinity Beaty, her siblings Sandy Fordham (Dorsey), and Ricky Wasson (Sharol); and her nieces and nephews Fred Wasson IV (Sarah), Lisa Lee (Lannie), John Brian Wasson (Sara), Kevin Wasson (Laurel), and Joe Fordham (Laura).
The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM Friday June 21 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel with a funeral service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
