Dennis Joseph Hogan, 75, of Metter, Georgia passed away at his home December 22, 2022 under the care of Regency Southern Care Hospice.
Dennis was born December 9, 1947 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Thomas Fogarty Hogan and Dorothy Gill Hogan. He was educated in Chatham County Schools and graduated from Richard Arnold High School. After graduating, he entered the United States Army, achieving the rank of Specialist before being honorably discharged.
In 1976, Dennis began working at Tucker Business Machines, where he served as Service Manager for 40 years until his retirement in 2016.
In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Pat Hogan; brother, Joseph Dyer; and sister-in-law, Donna Dyer.
Surviving are his daughter, Heather Hogan Johnson (Ozzie) of Savannah; grandchildren, Riley and Emmaline Johnson of Savannah; brothers, Frankie Hogan (Kathy/George) of Metter and Thomas Hogan (Barbara) of Rincon; and best friend, Wayne Brown of Metter.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 10am until the time of the service at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Noon in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Hillcrest Abbey West on Dean Forest Road with military honors.
