Denise (Huggins) Evans

Denise Camilla (Huggins) Evans, 96, of Savannah, Ga died Wednesday May 23, 2018 at her daughter's residence in Tucker, Ga.

She was a life long member of Trinity United Methodist church, was a member of the Insurance Women of Savannah, and was active in the Missions Society, the Sanctuary Choir, and Marvin O'Neal Sunday School Class, and served as a communion Steward. She retired from Jones Hill and Mercer insurance company.

She was preceded in death by her parents Curtis M. Huggins and Carrie Cetti; husband, Tracy Evans; 3 brothers, Luther Huggins, Jerome Huggins (Florence), and C. Fred Hall.

She is survived by her daughter Traci Lynn Evans (Gena Clark) of Tucker; sister-in-law, Pat Hall of Loganville, Ga.; several nieces and great-nieces and a nephew and great-nephews; loving caregivers, Carlene, Reid, and Amanda Ellis; beloved and devoted grand-dog Oshee.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm Friday May 25, 2018 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Mrs. Evans will be taken to Trinity United Methodist Church 10 am Saturday to lie in state.

Funeral Service will be held 12 pm Saturday May 26, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
