Delores Stephens, age 81, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Monday, July 18, 2022.
Mrs. Stephens was born on February 28, 1941 in Columbus, GA, the daughter of the late William Curtis Johnson and Willie Blanche Johnson. She grew up in Vidalia and later settled in Savannah where she cared for her family. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church (formerly Burkhalter), enjoyed reading, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Stephens was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Wendell Aubrey Stephens. She is survived by her children, Tammy Larson, Keith Stephens (Lisa), and Teresa Dorsey; grandchildren, Christina Adams (Shawn), Justin Stephens, Josh Larson (Jennifer), and Xander Dorsey; and great grandchildren, Logan, Kason, Taylor, and Bella.
The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2022 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
