Deborah Marie Tharpe

Deborah Tharpe, 71, of Guyton, GA went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday February
3, 2022 at her home.

Deborah was a loving wife to her husband and a caring mother to her two sons. She was a
member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Bloomingdale and was devoted to praise and
worship within her church family. She was kind and would do anything she could to help
anyone. After many years working for Gaster Lumber, Deborah found joy in traveling with her
husband of 35 years and two sons, cooking or just simply playing her favorite games on her
tablet at home. She was a quiet person throughout her life, but anyone who got to know her,
would also get to know her silly side too. We lay her to rest in God’s hands knowing that her
love and smiles will shine down on us from above.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Susie Eason; brother, David Eason;
sister, Diane Eason Brunson.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Scott Tharpe; sons, Scott Tharpe Jr (Chelsey)
and John James Brogan Jr; brothers, Anthony Eason (Carol) and Paul Eason (Nancy), 7
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Thursday February 10, 2022 at Baker McCullough
Funeral Home- Garden City Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Dasher officiating.
