Debby Overstreet Messex

Debby Jean Overstreet Messex, 62, of Pembroke, Georgia, died May 3, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Pembroke, Ga, and she was preceeded in death by her husband, Jimmy Messex, her father Ben Overstreet, her stepfather, Milton Edwards, 2 sisters, Sharon Pevey and Patricia Stafford, and brother, Robert Edwards .
She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Austin and Brandi Smith; her mother, Betty Ann Edwards, sister, Elaine Evans, grandson,Logan Smith, granddaughter, Braleigh Smith, special friend, Jimmy Rewis.
She was employed by the Shell Service Center, in Pooler, Ga as a Clerk, and she was a Baptist.

Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.

Funeral Services: 2 p.m. Saturday in the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel, with Dr. Lawrence Butler, officiating.

Interment will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, at Bloomingdale, Georgia.

Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
