Dawn "Shelly" Michelle Tyler Adams, 54, of Port Wentworth passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at her home.
A native of Savannah, she was the daughter of the late Faye Hogg Rakyta and the late Charles Chapman.
Shelly was raised in Savannah and attended Jenkins High School. She was a member of The Salvation Army and was employed at Port City Rigging Industrial & Marine Supply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Faye Hogg Rakyta and Michael Edward Rakyta, Charles Chapman and Mary Chapman.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Michael C. Adams; children, Ashley N. Hutto, Katherine "Kat" Adams and Joshua Adams; grandchildren, Lea and Aiden Hutto; sister, Kimberly "Kim" Chapman; nieces, Megan Roberts (Rashad); nephew, Justin Chapman (Emily); stepbrothers, Bobby and Michael Lewis; other family and friends.
A gathering will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Funeral Home from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a Service beginning at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home Chapel.
