David Thomas Lovering, 63, a resident of Richmond Hills, GA died at Memorial Health on Saturday, August 21, 2021, after a long illness.
Dave “Tom” was born in Dover Foxcroft, ME on April 3, 1958, the son of David Timothy and JoAnna (Merrill) Lovering. He graduated from Champlain Valley Union High School, in HInesburg, VT in 1977 and Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute in South Portland, ME in 1979. On August 2,1980 he married Katherine “Kate” Dolson, who predeceased him on January 14, 2019. On June13, 2020 he married Elizabeth “Cate” Terra. Dave “Tom” was employed at several Automotive Dealerships in New England and South Carolina, as both a Service Technician and Service Manager.
He enjoyed the love of outdoors, and woodworking. Dave’s shop would often have an antique trunk or gift project being made. He was talented and inspirational in his work. Dave loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Dave “Tom” is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Cate” Terra, and her 3 sons; his daughter Jessica Pimentel of GA and her husband, Matt; grandchildren, William and Olivia Pimentel; his mother JoAnnna (John) Coady of VT & FL; his brothers Peter (Elaine), of NJ and their son, Robert (Kelly) of NJ; Micheal (Laurie) of VT and their children, Jonathan of BC, Canada and Mikayla of CT; Steven (Gretchen) and their children, Emily, Evan and Nicholas of NY; his sister LeeAnn (Peter) Gordon and their children, Matthew and Alex of VT; his brotherin-law Michael Dolson of VT and his children, Shannon of FL, Nicholas and Phillip of VT; his uncle Lionel “Bud” (Jeanne) Merrill and their children, Brian, Allen and Karen of ME. He was predeceased by his father, and his sister-in-law Maria Lovering.
There will be a memorial service on Sunday, August 29th at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
