David Warren Horne

David W. Horne, born on April 2, 1941, in Savannah, Georgia, peacefully passed away on May 10th, 2024, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was a retired Wesleyan Methodist Minister who dedicated his life to serving others and spreading love and kindness.

David is preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce W. Horne; his son, John David Horne; and his brother, Curtis Horne. He is survived by his loving second wife, Mary Jane Horne; his cherished daughter, June Francis; stepsons, John Sherrod (Randy) and Richard Bolt (Amy); and his beloved sisters, Patricia Ward (Kendall) and Juanita Clark. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom he adored.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff of Magnolia Manor of Midway for their dedicated care and support throughout David's journey. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be scheduled for a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and honor his memory.
