David Edwards, Iv

David Edwards IV, the son of the late Mr. David Edwards III, surviving Mother, Mrs. Charlesetta Collins Edwards.

David was born on August 11, 1968, in Savannah Georgia. He departed this life on Friday, August 18, 2023 at home after an extended illness.

Mr. David Edwards was a 1986 graduate of Groves High School in Garden City, GA. He furthered his education by graduating from DeVry University and for a short term he was enlisted in the US Navy.

He leaves to cherish his loving mother, Charlesetta Edwards of Savannah, GA; two sisters, Pastor Connie (Michael) Brown and Nicole Edwards both of Savannah GA; two brothers, Johnny Lee Edwards and Charles (Wakanda) Edwards both of Savannah, GA, one daughter, Angelia D. Coles Edwards (Melva Coles); two grandsons, Kolby D. Mitchell, II and Aiden-Emory D. Kelley of Savannah GA; a special nephew, Lashawn Jamonte Edwards of Savannah, GA; two uncles, Samuel Collins Jr. and James Ellis (Delores) Collins; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr. Savannah, GA 31406).
