Danny Joe Outen

Danny J. Outen of Pooler, GA passed away January 9, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents Corley D. Outen and Edna M. Outen, a brother Ronnie Outen, a niece Michelle Outen and a great grandchild Nathan Cooler.

Danny was a Roofer most of his life, the best one around. He loved music and hunting in his younger days. He enjoyed making knives and things out of deer horns and loved his Westerns and his coffee. He talked fondly of his days on the farm in Claxton, fishing, swimming and getting paid to pick up pecans.

He left behind with broken hearts his children, Renea, Lisa, Jay and Wess. He is also survived by a brother Gary Outen, also his grandchildren, Josh, Alyssa, Justin, Jonathan, Brannon, Tyler, Jason, Colt, Sarah and Jessie, his great grandchildren, Jayden, Alexis, Bentley, Parker, Lily, Evelyn, Lukas, Ava and Isaiah. He also left behind the love of his life and mother of his children Donna S. Outen and many friends although he was not a wealthy man, but rich beyond measure with many grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved. Because of him we are all here. There are no goodbyes, until we meet again.

A service to celebrate Danny’s life will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel. The family invites all who knew and loved him to commemorate his life, the laughter he shared, and the countless ways he touched those around him.
