Dannette Simon Larrea
"Peanut"

Dannette was born October 30,1970 and died October 30, 2018. She was the daughter of Chris and Sandy Simon, sister of Christopher Jr., mother of Edward, wife of Ed and life-long friend Elizabeth.

Her education began at Tybee Elementary, St. Michaels of Tybee, St. Vincent's and finished at St. Andrew's on the Marsh. Dannette was a member of the All state chorus for St. Vincent's and St. Andrews. She won awards in Physics and attained admission to Who's Who. She was the recipient of various scholarships as well.

She was a long-time employee of Dr. Frank Hardeman Jr. serving as his book keeper. Her soft heart and huge smile was loved by all she encountered. Dannette had a continuous and contagious laugh. Everyone in her company would end up laughing, most not knowing why. She loved all God's animals, often taking in the helpless and sick and providing a home, care and love. She loved baking and elaborately decorating cakes which she donated to numerous auctions and causes. Many looked forward to what she had created and decorated for the various events. She especially enjoyed family gatherings. Dannette was always first to plan menus for each gathering be it: birthdays, holidays or special celebrations. All gatherings were enjoyed with a huge heart and love for all she knew and met. She always found the good and not the bad in people.
