GARDEN CITY: Daniel Harold Williams was born on September 29, 1939 to the late Roosevelt and Claudia Williams.
He grew up in Yemassee, South Carolina. He later moved to Savannah, Georgia.
Upon moving to Savannah, he worked as a manager at M&M Supermarket and Foodtown. He later became an electrician for Vos Electric, where he retired. Daniel married Dorothy L. H. W. Williams. To this union they have a blended family.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves to cherish his memories: 3 sons, Craig (Gloria), Gerald (Patrice),
Jarrod (Kendra), stepson, Floyd Walker (Joann). 1 daughter Cheryl (Anthony)Williams. Stepdaughter, Luverna (Bobby) Adams. 11 grands and 7 great-grands. 10 sisters-in-law, 4 brothers-in-law, a host of nephews, nieces, and other family.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1008 Martin Luther King, Jr Blvd, Savannah, GA 31415. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, North Middle Ground Rd., (Hunter Army Airfield) Savannah, GA 31419.
