Daniel Homer Cauley was born on August 16, 1957, and died peacefully on November 25, 2018, surrounded by his devoted family and beloved Mava.
Daniel was born to Obie B. and Mary Lois Cauley at Johnson Air Force Base in Japan. They were stationed in many cities before settling in Macon, Georgia. It is there that he attended school and later worked for Capricorn Records. After his employment there, Daniel served in the United States Army. Then in 1974, he and his family moved to Savannah where he started his own successful business, Property Technologies, which took him to California. He later returned to Savannah and began working for Integrated Network Solutions, where he was employed for thirteen years.
Daniel leaves behind a loving family. He is survived by Mava Byrd and his children Brandi Cauley (Tennessee), and Matthew Cauley (Emily), Damon Cauley as well as stepchildren Joseph Daniel and Sydney Daniel. His grandchildren include Haleigh Cauley, Skyler Barbot, Corazon Barbot, Rachel Bowen, Jace Cauley, and Davin Cauley. He is also survived by his sister Mary Green and her husband Larry, David Cauley and his wife Janice, and Thomas Cauley and his wife Clare.
