With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dana Denice Shores, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, who departed from this world on Saturday, January 4th, 2025. Dana was born on Monday, September 22nd, 1969, in Savannah, Georgia, and was a cherished resident of Ellabell, GA.

Dana's life was a testament to values she held dear: honesty, hard work, and love. A woman with an indomitable spirit, Dana was known for her heart of gold and a great sense of humor that brought laughter to all who knew her. She delighted in jokes and found joy in making others smile.

Dana dedicated her professional life as a Clerk with Ship 8 Logistics, where she was respected for her determination and commitment. Beyond her workplace, Dana's creativity shone through her love for crafting and painting, creating beautiful works that were admired by her family and friends.

Family was the cornerstone of Dana's life. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Steve, and a caring mother to her daughters, Merissa and Alexis. She embraced her step-daughter, Chelsea, and step-son, Steven, with open arms. Her grandchildren, Cleo and Bellamy, were her pride and joy, lighting up her world with their laughter and innocence.

Dana found solace in her quiet time at home, surrounded by loved ones, including her beloved pets. Her nurturing presence was felt by many, and her legacy of love and kindness is one that will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Dana is preceded in death by her parents, Carter Laverne Thames and Leslie Anna Kairis Thames, whom she dearly missed. She now joins them in eternal peace.
