Daisy Louise Bennett Bell Beard, widow of David Clayton Bell Jr. and Glenn E. Beard, passed away in Brandon, FL 06 September 2017, 24 days before celebration of her 90th birthday.

Daisy was predeceased by son, David Raymond Bell, and grandson, Heith Davis.  Also predeceased by parents: J.G. Bennett and Loma Chaney Hansen, step father Hans C. Hansen, and brothers: J.G. Jr., and Nelson Bennett, and half siblings, Robert and Evelyn Bennett,  also half brothers Joe and Edward Singleton, and step granddaughter, Wendy Strickland.

A 1945 graduate of Commercial High School in Savannah, GA, Daisy, after marriage, perfected her secretarial skills using shorthand to record lyrics while listening to country music on radio and then typing on manual typewriter, never thinking her skills would later provide for her family as a young 38 year old widow of David Bell.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, Daisy is survived by daughter, Nancy Louise Bell Davis, and son-in-law Donnie Davis (loving caregivers to Daisy) and  daughter-in-law Emma Bell; Grandchildren: Dawn Davis Nicholson, Shane Davis (Belinda), Rhonda Bell Dykstra, Christopher Bell (Susan), and Jodie Bell; and step granddaughters: Diane Aboushadi, and Michele White.

Also surviving are great grandchildren: Cheyenne Nicholson, Sebastian Davis, Zachary and Garrett Dykstra, and step great grandchildren, Trey and Michael Strickland, Dena, Shadi, and Fayza Aboushadi, and Jordan and Austin White.

Graveside services, by Pastor Kenny Harrelson, and in the presence of family and friends, Daisy joined husbands, David Bell and Glenn Beard at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah, GA, on September 22nd, 2017.
