Curtis Leon Bryan, Jr., age 55, died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Hospice House after a long battle with cancer.
Graveside Rites will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Bonaventure Cemetery with Hospice Chaplain David Templeton officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening August 25, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
Curtis was born November 12, 1954, in Savannah to the late Curtis Leon Bryan, Sr. and Betty Dowd Bryan, who survives. He Graduated from Jenkins High School and attended Bible Baptist Church and was known as a very talented carpenter for many years. He had a devotion to his three dogs, Paxie, Lil Girl and Tory. In later years, he was a personal driver for the Savannah River Pilots.
In addition to his mother, his is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Marine Sgt. Vincent Bryan and wife Telma of Okinawa, Japan; Former Navy Petty Officer Johnny Matson and wife Fatima of Atlanta, Ga., two sisters and brothers-in-law; Sharon B. Allerheiligen and husband Milt of Holdrege, NE., Terri B. Feusner and husband Randy and one brother and sister-in-law; Craig Bryan and wife Denise all of Savannah, and the mother of his sons, Son Hui Jarkowsky of Matthews, NC, also a host of Nieces and Nephews.
