Corene Hutto Lariscy

Corene Hutto Lariscy passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017 at the Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond Hill, Ga. Corene was born in Hazelhurst , Ga. on August 16, 1925. She was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Rudolph, and four brothers, Vernon, Vascoe, Monroe and Ezra Hutto. Corene is survived by three sons Dr. Lloyd W. Lariscy, John W. Lariscy (Judy) and Dr. Michael L. Lariscy (Barbara); nine (9) grandchildren; and seven (7) great grandchildren;.
Corene is best known as a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grand- mother, and dear friend to many in the Savannah area. This very loving woman possessed a God-given talent for gardening as well as being described as "the best cook" in the kitchen. Corene worked for Oelschig's Florists (book-keeper), Southland Oil Company (key punch operator) and Belks (accounts payable). She was a devoted and active member of the Exchangettes of the Savannah Exchange Club of Savannah for many years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 608 Hampton Street, Savannah, GA 31405. Funeral services will follow immediately afterwards at St. Andrews at 2:00pm.
Remembrances may be donated to St. Andrews Anglican Church.
