Claudia L. Bartley McGraw, 74, died Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 3, 2012 at First Evergreen Baptist Church, 622 East Bolton Street, Savannah, GA 31401, with The Reverend Vickie McKine officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - East.
Claudia was born on April 16, 1937 in Honolulu, Hawaii to the late Lorenzo Alfonzo Lowe and Lillie May Duncan Lowe. She was a retired bookkeeper and the owner of several businesses. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Georgetown ward and has been a residence of Savannah for fifty years. She was a loving mother, friend and mentor. Claudia was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Gloria B. Brown and Phyllis B. Wooten and a sister, Dorothy L. Poindexter.
Survivors include: sons and daughter-in-law: Jagers L. Bartley and wife Marquita Hall, Wayne T. Bartley; a daughter, La Trice M. McGraw, all of Atlanta, GA, eight grandchildren and one sister, Bessie L. Foster of Willingboro, New Jersey. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
