Claudette Lacoste Tyler

Claudette LaCoste Tyler, age 80, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022.
Mrs. Tyler was born in Savannah on July 31, 1942, the daughter of the late Claude Duval LaCoste and Lois Alberta Knight LaCoste. She was a 1959 graduate of Savannah High School and continued her formal education at Armstrong College, earning a degree in nursing. She practiced as a registered nurse for many years, primarily in private practice until she retired. She was a longtime member of The Seed Church and was an active Exchangette with the Exchange Club. Claudette enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and many friends.
Mrs. Tyler was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Tommie F. Tyler. She is survived by her sons, T. Ferman Tyler, II and Mitchell J. Tyler; and grandchildren, Chelsie M. Tyler, Austin J. Tyler, and Zachary D. Tyler.
A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced once finalized by Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to The Seed Church, 1950 Chatham Parkway, Savannah, GA 31405 or the Jenkins Athletic Club, 6408 Waters Ave, Savannah, GA 31406.
