Claud Lawhorn, 84, of Savannah, Georgia passed away Saturday March 24, 2018 at Memorial Hospital. He was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia. He was a heavy Equipment Operator, Diesel Mechanic, loved gardening and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann Lawhorn.
He is survived by one son, Gene Lawhorn (Beverly), one daughter Ann Ambrose (Danny), three grandchildren, Michael Ambrose, Jason Ambrose, Melissa Porter; Nine great-grandchildren, Mallory, Daniel, Wesley, Christopher, Gracen, Addie, Kipton, Josie, Mia and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by his companion of 13 years Marjorie Putnam.
Visitation will be at 10 - 11 am Tuesday March 27, 2018 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel with the Funeral Service to follow at 11 am. Interment at Hillcrest Abbey - West.
