Clarance Wilmott Taylor

Clarance W. Taylor, 75, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Clarance was a shining light. He loved life; he loved people; he loved his family and the love of his life, Judy, who he was married to for 54 years. Clarance never met a stranger. He was loved by many. He always had a quick wit and had many friends. He was a Certified Public Accountant in the Savannah area for over 50 year and was still a practicing CPA.

Clarance grew up in East Hartford, Connecticut and moved to Georgia during his time in the Marines. While in Statesboro, he met Judy Kearney, and he never left Georgia again. He was a great husband, father, and friend.

Clarance was preceded in death by his mother and father, Marjorie and Clarance Taylor; and his brother, Clifford Taylor. He is survived by his wife Judy; and daughters, Kelli Taylor and Jennifer Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
