Christos Saltourides, 68, of Richmond Hill, Ga., died Monday, March 26, 2019 at Candler General Hospital.
He was born March 12, 1951 in Komnina, Greece.
He was married for 47 years to Margarita Papadopoulos Saltourides, and he was survived by his five children.
He was formerly the owner of Mike's Pizza, located in Richmond Hill, Ga. As a restaurant owner, he sponsored all the local sports teams in Richmond Hill, and he was a big Patriots Fan!
He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, traveling, coffee, the beach, playing cards, baking, cooking, and soccer.
He moved to America in 1964, with his mother and siblings.
He was a member of St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margarita Papadopoulos Saltourides, of Richmond Hill, Ga; 5 children, Sophia Warwick (Dwayne), Demetrios Saltourides (Angel), Eleni Elling (Eric), Anastacia Harding (Jamey), and Haralabos Saltourides, grandchildren, George Papadopoulos, Brittany Barreno, Maddison Warwick, Alex Elling, Alyssa Harding, Jayden Saltourides, Ava Saltourides, Kaitlyn Harding, Andy Elling, and Summer Saltourides.
His parents were Anastasios Saltourides, and Eleni Lafazanides (both deceased), and Siblings deceased, Kostandinos Saltourides, Sophia Saltourides, and Voula Mallios; Siblings alive, Parthena Athanasiades, Anatoli Kritharakis, Despina Koulidakis, Ioannis Saltourides, Lazaros Saltourides, and Irene Batzios.
Visitation: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Trisagion Services: 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Father John Wallace, officiating.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019 at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church, with Father John Wallace, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
