Christopher "Chris" Travis Wood, 51, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 6th, 2024. He was born on Monday, March 5th, 1973 in Garden Grove, California and was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Chris is survived by his loving daughter, Breanne Khristine Gardiner and her husband, Matt Gardiner, his brother Andy Wood, his beloved grandchildren Kinsleigh Anne Wood, Jack Christopher Lewis Gardiner, and Bryleigh Ann Haze Gardiner, who adored their “Papa”.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Charles Wood, his mother, Victoria Lee Gothard, and his sister Brooke Cummings.

Chris was a member of The Church at Godley Station. He was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord. Chris was employed as an Inventory Sales Clerk at Coca-Cola Co. where he was loved by many co-workers.

He was a dedicated LSU fan and also had a passion for playing Poker. He created his own second family with his poker friends. He had a spark of energy that was contagious to anyone he encountered.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel in Garden City, Georgia on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 at 11:00 am.
