Christopher Wayne Kent

Christopher Wayne Kent, 46, of Denver, CO passed away unexpectedly in Tulum, Mexico on July 23, 2022. Christopher was born in Savannah, GA on June 18, 1976, to Sandra Kent (Mannion) and the late, John Wayne Kent.

Those who know Christopher, know him for his kindness, warm spirit, and compassion. He worked as a real estate accountant and deeply enjoyed Colorado’s outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking. Christopher had moved from Savannah, GA to Denver, CO with the love of his life, Barbara Ryan in 2014. Christopher loved traveling and live music, especially the band, Phish, and spent much of his time with his beloved dog and best friend, Miles.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Sandra Mannion Kent, of Savannah, GA; stepmother, Donna Kent; stepbrother, Jamey Jenkins; stepsister, Kelly Kent and many nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Wayne Kent; his maternal grandparents, William T. “Billy” Mannion and Connie Marie Mannion (NeSmith); his paternal grandparents, John Wayne Kent and Grace Kent; and his maternal aunt, Brenda Spillane.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
