Grace Ward passed away peacefully at her home Saturday May 25, 2019.
She was predeceased by her husband, Reverend Paul Ward; son , Ronnie Ward; grandson, Clint Droste; parents, Reverend A.J. and Agnes Moore; brothers and sisters, Cecil, LeRoy, Dorothy, Joyce, Louise Moore.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Jervis; son, Randy Ward (Sally); brother, Zeno Moore (Genelle); grandchildren, Harold Droste (Christie), Jennifer Riner (Rob), Paul Ward (Nikkie), Elijah Ward, Dusty (Lydia) Ward, Cody Ward, Ginger Blake (Jay); Christina Gruber; and special love to Winde Sullivan; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Grace never met a stranger, loved everyone, loved her God; served in ministry with her husband at several churches and evangelized throughout southeast, GA, under the Church of God.
She sang for Christ from a child singing on the radio with her parents. She was known as the 9 year old tenor singer that stood on a fruit basket encased in beautiful fabric in order to reach the microphone. Grace made a tape of her songs with the help of their like son, Chuck Day. They gave them out in their ministry. Don't say go or you would find her with one foot in the car beeping the horn yelling, " Come on, let's go"! She was a true beauty to all, having the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation: 12 pm to 2pm Thursday May 30, 2019 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Service: 2pm Thursday May 30, 2019 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Interment will follow at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery.
