Cheryl "Denise" Leggett

Cheryl Denise Leggett, 62, of Bloomingdale, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at her home.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of Wiley Preston Tucker and Cristine Oliver Tucker.
Denise was a graduate of Effingham High School's Class of 1978. She was a member of Powers Baptist Church. She was employed as a sales associate for Walmart for many years and served previously as a waitress at Mr. B's in Savannah until they closed their doors.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Udell and Ottis Oliver; paternal grandparents, Pauline Wilson and Wiley Tucker Jr.; uncles, Harry and Billy Oliver; and favorite front porch sitting cousin, Pamela Smith.
Survivors include a son, Preston "Scotty" Leggett; grandson, Nicholas Scott Thomas; parents, Cristine Oliver Tucker and Wiley Preston Tucker; sisters, Lisa Howard (Bruce) and Tina Hires; companion for 24 years, Henry Harbuck; nieces and nephews, Tucker "Landon" Hires (Mallory), Kevin "Ryan" Hires, Timothy "Corey" Howard (Chelsea), Evelyn "Christi" March; aunt, Patricia Dover (Brenda Buckley) and special great-nieces, Mila Jayde March and Elle Grace March.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 2pm at Powers Baptist Church Cemetery on Old River Road with Pastor Galbert R. Conner officiating.
