Cheri Danielle Mueller, affectionately known as "Rere," passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 41, in her hometown of Savannah, Georgia. Cheri was born in Savannah, Georgia, and was raised by her father, Larry D. Handley Jr., and her mother, Polly Handley. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her vibrant spirit, her love of life, and her deep devotion to her loved ones.

Cheri had a special love for the beach, where she could often be found enjoying the sun. She was an avid lover of music and loved to dance, bringing joy to every room she entered with her energy and enthusiasm. Her infectious laugh could light up any space, and her zest for life was felt by all who knew her. Cheri was also a very spiritual person, whose inner strength guided her through every aspect of her life.

Cheri is survived by her two children, Tyler Mueller, Jr. of Land O' Lakes, FL, and Dixie Mueller of De Pere, WI, her mother, Polly Handley of Richmond Hill, GA; her sister, Dixie Handley of Richmond Hill, GA; her brother, Jason Handley of Jesup, GA; and her maternal grandmother, Linda Willis of Rincon, GA. She is also survived by her fiancé, Christopher Gunter of Savannah, GA, and several aunts, uncles, first and second cousins, and many dear friends.

Cheri was preceded in death by her father, Larry D. Handley Jr., her grandmother, Mary L. Gillis, and her son, Andrew Mueller.

A celebration of Cheri’s life will be held as a later date, kindly reach out to Dixie Handley with any questions.
