Charles Palmer "Charlie" Hook, Jr., 60, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Riverview Health and Rehab Center in Savannah.
A native of Savannah, he was the son of Charles Palmer Hook, Sr. and Mary Jordan Hook.
He attended school at the Coastal Center for Development in Savannah for many years. He loved his family with all of his heart and was always smiling. He had a way of finding joy in everyday life and was constantly smiling. Some of his favorite things included eating vanilla icecream, watching children play, and having his head rubbed. He most especially enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and was Vanna White's biggest fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Palmer Hook, Sr.; and a brother, James Linwood Hook.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Jordan Hook; sister, Susan Tedesco (Edgar); niece,Kimberley Harper (David); nephews, Joshua Marston (Ashley) and Louis Marston; and great nieces and nephews, Kadence, Shelby, Belle, Austen, David, Keegan, Bryson, and Noah.
Service will be private.
"Those with pure souls can not be lost, for they are always found in the hearts of those they have touched." Charlie was a pure soul who touched everyone he came in contact with and he was the best of all of us.
