Charles Keith Herrington

Charles Keith Herrington, age 66, of Savannah passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

Mr. Herrington was born on December 13, 1956 in Savannah to the late Dilburn Herrington and the late Dicy Elizabeth Mikell Herrington. Keith graduated from Johnson High School in 1975 and went on to work in the shipyard as a welder.

Keith Herrington was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time on the water and in the woods. He loved to be out on the boat in the river or spending time with family and friends on the beach. He was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Carolyn, and a loving father to his two kids. He adored his two grandchildren, Brooks and Ava, who always put a smile on his face when they were around. Always the life of the party, Keith loved being surrounded by his closest friends.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Carolyn Herrington; son and fiancé, Chris Herrington & Tracy Hale; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey & John Albright; sister, Teri Herrington; and two grandchildren, Brooks & Ava Albright.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406).

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
