Charles Edward Gordon, age 70, of Bloomingdale passed away Saturday, March 11th, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he lived all of his life here in Savannah, he retired after 20 plus years of service as a Security Guard for Candler Hospital, and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mamie Gordon, his wife Jackie Gordon, his daughter, Laura Lee Williams and his brothers, Tommy and George Gordon.
Surviving are his daughters, Kimberly Gordon Aguilar her husband Bernabe, Victoria Gordon, his son, Hezekiah Gordon, his grandchildren, Douglas Mallard, Nicholas Mallard, Kimmy Aguilar, Emily Aguilar, Clayton Herring, Chris Herring, Tay Herring, Jacob Herring, Justin Herring, Olivia Williams, his great grandchildren, Raijon Ross Jr., Jakayla Ross, Journee Gordon, Rameer Ross, his brothers, Richard Gordon, Cecil Gordon, William Gordon, his sister, Elizabeth Miller and a number of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 15th, 2017 from 1 pm to 2 pm at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Bonaventure Chapel. Funeral Services will be held beginning at 2 pm in Bonaventure Chapel. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
