Charles Stanley Dubberley, Sr., went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2016 at the age of 82. Born & raised on a farm in Macon County, AL, with parents Walter Benjamin & Annie Wright Dubberley & siblings, Ben & Beth. He graduated from Macon Co. High School and attended Auburn University. Married for over 62 years to Judith Russell, they raised five children, instilling in them the love and values they held dear.
Stan began his career with the U.S. Postal Service in 1955 that spanned 37 years until he retired as Postmaster/Sectional Center Manager of Savannah & the surrounding area. He also served as Chairman of the Board of the Savannah Postal Credit Union. In his leisure time he enjoyed golfing, was an avid Auburn Football fan, and loved spending time with his family including his church family at Skidaway Island Baptist.
Preceded in death by his parents, siblings & beloved son, Stan. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy, children: Dawn (Steve) Sherwood, Sharon (Donny) Godbee, Angie (Mike) Spinelli & Pat (Winona) Dubberley. Grandchildren: Ryan (Blakely) Sellars, Reed & Reagan Godbee, Ashley(Jay) Vales, Tyler (Ashley) & Hunter (Kristen) Sherwood, Devin, Josh, Zack (Larsen), Caitlan, Dylan, Jackson & Ansley Spinelli and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, from 5:00-7:00pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home-Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, December 3, at 11:00am in the Baker McCullough Funeral Home chapel. Burial will take place on Sunday in Auburn, AL.
