Charles "Chuck" Richard Garrett, 75, of Savannah, passed away Friday, Dec 23, 2016 at John Wesley Villas.
A native of Russellville, Alabama, he was the son of Ellis Garrett and Venoia Garrett.
Chuck was a veteran, having served in both the U.S. Army, and the U.S. Air Force.
He was also retired from the Savannah Police Department.
He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, the Bethel Sunday School Class, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher, member of the Sanctuary Choir, the Board of Deacons, and the Social Committee of the Church.
He is survived by a brother, Tom Garrett, Savannah, Ga; sister, Mary Blankenship, Savannah, Ga; adopted Daughter, Lisa Reinhardt, Pittsburg, Pa; and a grandson, Joshua Paul Reinhardt, of Pittsburg, Pa; and 2 granddaughters.
Visitation: 9 - 10 a.m. Friday at Bible Baptist Church.
Funeral Services: 10 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church, with Dr. Herb Hubbard, and Rev. Tommy East, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery, with Military Honors, by the U.S. Air Force.
