Charles Edward Carter

With humble acceptance of God's will, we announce the passing of Charles Edward Carter (Chuck) on December 21, 2024.

Beloved husband of Lei Harley Carter, father of Trey R. Carter (Jenny) and Papa to Gage, Ty and Caden Carter. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on November 15, 1946, to John and Virginia Carter. Left to mourn his passing are sisters, Norma Reynolds (Jimmy), Nancy Monroe (Jesse) and brother, John Carter (Jinci). He was uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and friend to many.

A Vietnam Veteran, Chuck went on in life to establish the Lancellor Corporation and later The Monogram Place with his wife, Lei. But Chuck's greatest joy was being a husband, father and Papa.

The family invites his friends to join them in the celebration of his life at Greenwich Cemetery on Friday, December 27 at 11:00 a.m.

Donations in his memory can be made to Compassion Christian Church Middle/High School Camp scholarship fund.
