Chad Christopher Oste

Chad Christopher Droste, 30, of Ellabell, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Memorial Health Medical University. Chad was born March 21, 1987 in Savannah, Georgia and graduated from Windsor Forest High School. Chad worked for MacAljon, Inc. as a welder and was a member of Pipefitters Local Union 188. He was a faithful member of Savannah Holy Church of God and served in various positions of ministry through the years, including Children's Church, Security Team, and the Men's Wild Game Dinner. Chad loved hunting, fishing, and playing disc golf. He was a loving husband and father. He was a man of integrity who believed strongly in providing for his family. Chad had a great personality with an infectious sense of humor. He overcame many hard obstacles in his life all while continuing to praise God in the storm. Chad loved Lori and was the perfect soul mate for her. He spent many hours being a positive influence in Clay's life.
Chad is proceeded in death by daughter, Paige Droste; mother, Linda Droste; parents, Barry and Jeannie Droste; maternal grandparents, Steve and Ernalee Shipes; and paternal grandmother, Carolyn Droste.
Chad is survived by wife of 8 years, Lori; sons, Clay and Marshall; sister, Shannon Moreland; niece, Courtney Beasley; other brothers and sisters; grandfather, Jim Droste; father, Gary Droste; aunts, Sherri Droste (Gary Williams) and Karen Droste; in-laws, Robert and Shelia Hicks; brother-in-laws, Buddy Hicks (Sonja) and Samuel Hicks; sister-in-law, Corrie Hicks; and nephew, Audi Hicks.
Arrangements are as follows: Visitation -Friday, December 1, 2017 from 5-7 P.M. at Baker-McCullough Funeral Home at 2794 US 80, Garden City, GA.
Funeral-Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Savannah Holy Church of God, 707 Little Neck Road, Savannah, GA.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West, Savannah, GA.
