Cecil E. Price, 83, of Savannah went home to Heaven on April 17, 2021 after a battle with Covid-19. He is survived by his wife Yvonne, his daughter Andrea Price Crespin (Louis), his son Brian A. Price (Allen), and daughter Brenda Price Brickell (Jeff). He is also survived by grandchildren James T. Price, Thomas P. Price, and Emily Brickell, and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Boyd and Vera Price and brother James B. Price Jr.
Mr. Price was born in Williston, SC, but moved to Decatur, GA as a young child. He was a graduate of Southwest Dekalb High School and went to school in Mississippi for 2 years before joining the Air Force. He worked at various jobs before settling on a career in law enforcement. In 2003 he retired from the Sheriff’s Department in Miami-Dade, FL.
Mr. Price was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church here in Savannah. He loved his Lord and wanted the pandemic to be over so he could be active again in his church.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA with Rev. Johnny Bowen officiating. The service may be live streamed by using the following link
