Catherine Marie Wolfe

d. November 24, 2017

Catherine "Cathy" Marie Wolfe, 60, of Savannah passed away Thursday, November 23rd, 2017 at Hospice Savannah, Inc.

A native of Savannah, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. Wolfe, Jr. and the late Audrey Edwards Wolfe.

Cathy was a communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and attended Nativity of Our Lord School and St. Vincent's Academy. In her youth, she participated in many activities including swimming, basketball, and Girl Scouts. She enjoyed going to Tybee and seeing all her friends. She looked forward to St. Patrick's Day every year and hunting Easter eggs at the annual family reunion. She loved everything Barbie, Hello Kitty and Betty Boop related and her room was like "Toyland" she used to say. Among her other interests were bowling, cross stitch, drawing, painting, watching football and, most of all, watching old shows on TV. Her official nickname became "Comcast Cathy" and she will be buried with her remote control. She was the best big sister anyone could have and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her siblings, Tony Wolfe, Patsy Whitlock (Jimmy), Linda Huggins (Mike), Kaye Babot (Roy), Danny Wolfe (Beth), Angela Faye Kandarian, Michael Wolfe; many nieces, nephews and 3 great nieces.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bud Robertson and all the staff at Summit Cancer Care located at Memorial for all of the love and support that they showed and gave to Cathy. Without their kindness and attentiveness to her special needs, her battle with cancer would have been quite different. They are all angels.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Christian Wake Service at 5:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29th, 2017 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Bonaventure Cemetery.

Remembrances can be made to Hospice Savannah, Inc., American Cancer Society or St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
