Casey Jordan Jacobs, 23, of Port Wentworth, GA passed away December 18, 2020.
He was born November 25, 1997 in Savannah, GA to Shannon Jacobs and Shane Smith. He was an Assistant Manager at Zaxby’s in Port Wentworth. He was of Catholic faith and attended services at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church.
Casey was an amazing and loving father, brother, son, and friend. He always put others before himself and was the glue that held everyone together. He will be remembered for his respectful manner, loyal friendship, laughter, and fishing skills. He was an avid video gamer. He never missed a chance to watch his favorite teams, the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics, play. His mother said “He was the greatest thing in my life.” He was the biggest fan of his brother, Tony’s, music. He was everyone’s biggest fan.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Anita P. Jacobs; grandfather, Jerome Smith; uncle, A. Michael Jacobs Jr.; and cousin, Tiffany Smith.
Surviving are his mother, Shannon Lee Jacobs (Mark Murray) of Port Wentworth; father, Shane Smith (Lynda Neal) of Savannah; daughter, Jordyn Aria Jacobs of Savannah; sister, Michelle Jacobs of Savannah; brother, Tony Jacobs of Savannah; grandfather, A. Michael Jacobs Sr. of Savannah; grandmother, Gaynelle Towle of Hinesville; aunts, Kristin Jacobs of Palmetto, Tracey Jacobs (Jason Totten) of Savannah, and LaRay Gladney of Savannah; uncle, Nicky Smith of Baltimore, Maryland; cousins, Mikie, Tyler, Christian, and Krislyn Jacobs, Leanna and Jennifer Totten, Raven Gladney, and Brandon and Tiffany Smith.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 29 from 5-7PM with a Rosary Service to be held at 6PM in the chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, December 30, 1PM at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church with Father Joe Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tony Jacobs, Mikie Jacobs, Keanu Warren, Shy Alston, Michael Moore, and Alfonso Moore.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
