Carolyn Strickland Otto, 81, of Bloomingdale, Ga., died Thursday, at Memorial Medical Center after an extended illness.
She was born in Savannah, Ga., and was preceded in death by her husband, Francis W. Otto, III.
She was a member of First Assembly of God, and was very active in the church. She was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where she had served as a Secretary until retiring.
She is survived by 2 sons, Francis W. Otto, IV of Bloomingdale, Ga; and Ronald B. Otto, of Indiana; a brother, Elmer Strickland, Savannah, Ga; 2 sisters, Frances Barber of Savannah, Ga., and Helen Andrews, of Concord, N.C., 5 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Wednesday, at First Assembly of God.
Funeral Services: 12 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God, with Rev.Cecil Gray, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
