Carolyn Bandy Moore passed away June 15 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
She was born in Savannah, GA on August 1, 1942 to Joseph and Eloise Bandy, where she later met and married Harris Hyland Moore Sr.. Together they raised six children in a loving, caring home. She was passionate about many things in her life, including, gardening, cooking, traveling, shopping, bird watching and getting her hair done. But what she was the most passionate about was her family. She lived to make them happy. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She truly believed that her day did not start until she had her coffee.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 51 years, Harris Hyland Moore Sr.; three sons, Clayton (Sharon), Chris (Tanda), and Harris Jr. (Traci); three daughters, Cynthia (Kin), Cheryl (Jimmy), and Missy (Doug); a brother, Joseph F. Bandy Jr. (Deloris); 14 grand-children; 20 great grand-children and two more on the way.
A visitation will be held Tuesday June 18, from 6-8 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday June 19, at 11am at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel with interment to follow at Hillcrest Abbey.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Memorial Health University Medical Center and Compassus Hospice Care for the great care they provided Ms. Carolyn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Compassus Care Hospice 107 Southern Blvd Suite 103 Savannah, GA 31405.
