Carolyn L. Stevens

Carolyn L. Stevens, age 88, of Savannah passed away Friday, December 23, 2022.

Mrs. Stevens was born on January 14, 1934 in Baxley, GA, the daughter of the late Sammie and Pearl Buchan Saxton. She was a bookkeeper with her family business, The Diving Locker Ski Chalet for many years and attended Windsor Forest Baptist Church. Above all, Carolyn loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her loving husband of 73 years, Billy Kenneth “BK” Stevens; She is survived by her children, Vickie Patrick (Dean), Billy Kenneth Stevens, Jr. (Brenda), Terri Fleming (Michael), and Benjamin Stevens (Cathy); grandchildren, David (Robyn), Kimberly (John), Deanna (Nick), Denny (Lindsey), Carolyn (Brandon), Jocelyn (John), Jennifer (Justin), Michael, Matthew, Kohl, Sienna, and Jordan; as well as 21 great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
