"Butch" Robert Francis Ricker, III, 74, passed away Saturday, March 19th, 2016 at Candler Hospital.
A native of Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of the Late Robert Francis Ricker, Jr. and Ruby Abby Craven Ricker.
Butch was a veteran of the US Army, a Baptist, a jack of all trades and most of all a Musician.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Eubanks and a brother, Joe Ricker.
Survivors include his son, William "Billy" Ricker; siblings, Dorothy Boone, Jerry Ricker, Susan Corlette, Linda Roller, Kenny "Bubba" Ricker, and Mike Ricker; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the funeral home with his brother Mike officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be the nephews; Art Manos, Ricky Boone, John Ricker, Adam Ricker, Brian Ricker, Bud Davis, Buck Owens and Joey Ricker.
The family asks that contribution be made to The Children's Miracle Network or The Autism Foundation.
